C’è voluto un regista di nascita italiana ma residente in Svezia, Erik Gandini, per fare un documentario sulla tv italiana. Il trailer è stato rifiutato dalle reti telivisive e sembra che anche le sale cinematografiche lo stiano escludendo dalla programmazione.

Story of a heart: nuova canzone di Benny e Bjorn
Decisamente molto più bella della precedente (vedi post anteriore), Story of a heart suona come una canzone degli ABBA e credo che non sia difficile per noi fans immaginarla cantata da Agnetha e Frida. Io direi che assomiglia un po' a The winner takes it all.
Questa canzone è stata scritta da Benny e Bjorn per l'imminente album: Story of a heart - The Benny Andersson Band, da notare che in Svezia sono conosciuti come Benny Andersson Orkester o semplicemente BAO. Si tratta di una compilation che sarà pubblicata anche in Inghilterra e che conterrà, oltre al brano inedito in questione, i più grandi successi della band tratti dai loro tre album svedesi. La canzone è cantata da Helen Sjöholm, ultima musa di Benny e Bjorn, già protagonista della versione svedese di Chess.

Nuova canzone targata B&B (ABBA)
Questa è una canzone scritta da Björn & Benny (Björn Ulvaeus e Benny Andersson degli ABBA) per promuovere l'albergo che Benny possiede a Stoccolma, il Rival. Il brano è cantato ed eseguito dal personale dell'albergo ma anche Benny può essere visto nel video. Se avete lo sguardo aquilino dovreste poter individuare anche Bjorn, che appare per 2 secondi. Il singolo di "Second best to none", tale il titolo della canzone, è uscito lo scorso 6 maggio 2009 ed è anche disponibile in download.

BJORN RISCRIVE UN'ALTRO CLASSICO DEGLI ABBA
Sembra che Bjorn Ulvaeus ci abbia preso gusto. Dopo aver riscritto un'intera stroffa di When all is said and done per la versione cinematografica di Mamma mia! ora riscrive alcune frasi di The way old friends do.
Sembra che sia stato lo stesso Bjorn ad offrirsi di cambiare il testo per l'inclusione di questa bellissima canzone nell'album di esordio della cantante Faryl Smith, un mezzozoprano tredicenne di nazionalità britannica che, dopo una clamorosa performance a maggio nel programma Britain's Got talent, ha firmato un contratto-record miliardario con la Universal. La ragione della modifica del testo l'ha spiegata la stessa ragazza: "gli ABBA hanno pensato che non fosse appropriato per me cantare su un divorzio, così Bjorn ha cambiato il testo e ora tratta di amicizia". Come ricorderete questo brano è stato composto per chiudere il tour internazionale '79 - '80 e poi è stato incluso in versione live nell'album Super Trouper. La canzone parla dell'amicizia che si cerca di mantenere alla fine di un amore e il riferimento è sempre al divorzio di Agnetha e Bjorn.

Mamma mia! Amici tua...!
L'ho visto ieri per caso facendo zapping, e sono rimasto senza parole. Anziché prova musical la chiamerei Come rovinare un musical: istruzioni per l'uso. Una battuta su tutte:

Cento volte meglio la citazione del musical ma soprattutto lo splendido tributo agli ABBA fatto qualche mese fa dal cast di Zelig!

Mamma mia! Il DVD
Mamma mia! il film continua a collezionare record. In Inghilterra è diventato il film con gli incassi maggiori della storia, superando Harry Potter e la pietra filosofale e Titanic. Ora anche il DVD, con oltre 5 milioni di copie vendute, a circa un mese dall'uscita, è diventato il DVD più venduto di tutta la storia.
Finalmente il DVD è in uscita in Italia il 29 Gennaio, anche in edizione Blu-ray. In esso, oltre al bel film in versione originale, italiana e spagnola, si potranno trovare i seguenti contenuti extra:
